Clonaslee Tidy Towns did well in the national competition bringing points up to 301. In category B they are in second position behind Castletown. Clonaslee’s long association with Tidy Towns was said to have made the village a nicer and better place to live. The committee thank all the volunteers who worked so hard since May, Fas participants and Supervisor Patricia Sheed, Pat Fenlon, all who painted, cut ditches and helped in any way. Thanks to young members Lorcan, Joseph, Patrick and Kathleen.
Clonaslee Show Society thanks everyone for coming to the show and making it such a vibrant day. Prizes were won from country wide and it was enjoyed by all. Thanks to all who baked goodies, volunteered on the day, helped setting up and cleaning up.
