Be very aware of bogus collectors re: household charge. Laois Co Council got tip offs about fraudsters calling to homes this week. The charge is not being collected and if it is they do collect they would have formal ID cards to show house owners. If you have bogus callers contact the gardi on 864-8022 or any member of the committee. Elderly people use your panic button for you monitor alarm as it is monitored 24 hours. Those with peepholes use them, don’t answer your door to any strangers. Please be extra vigilant. We don’t want to see any person being conned by these bogus callers. Never be afraid to press your panic button, all they want is to hear that you are ok.
