The Club would like to thank everyone for the support received for our greyhound dog night last Friday in Kilkenny. It is a crucial fundraising event everyear and one in which we would like to thank all for supporting. Our Junior C Hurlers were narrowly defeated in the semi final of the championship last Friday in Ballylinan, in a close game ballylinan just had enough. Our Junior A hurlers got our championship bid off to a solid start last Sunday in Durrow agianst the Harps. Timahoe were near full strenght and led from start to finsh the game finsihing at 2-18 to 11 points. All roads to O Moore park this coming Sunday as Timahoe take on Arles-Kileen in the second round of the Senior Champioinship, lets hope we can repeat the performance given agaisnt Stradbally.


Well done to all local youing people on receiving their junior/leaving certificate results last week and the very best for whatever course or path they decide to go take, with all the options available there is something to suit all.


The weekly reminder to all to help keep our Village clean and tidy, if all smokers could please bin those butts it would be appreciated. We have seen alot of visitors to the Village this year and the Village is looking neat and well.


The Timahoe ladies Football club are holding a Cake sale in Timahoe Commuinty Hall this coming Sunday the 26th of August next after Mass. later on that day at 12.30pm the club will also be holding an Under 8 Blitz in the field in memeory of the late Lulu Carroll, local teams like Timahoe , Portlaoise, The Heath, Ballyroan and Sarsfields will be taking part.
