Michael Moylan returns with his hugely popular interactive history show for kids. This year, experience a unique historical re-enactment of life on board the Titanic. Tommy Millar And The Two Pennies: A Family Story Of The Titanic takes place in Portlaoise Library on Wednesday August 22 at 6pm. Author and journalist Susie Millar tells how her great-grandfather came to be an engineer on the Titanic and what happened to him and his family in April 1912. Portlaoise Library has compiled an exhibition of old photographs of Main Street, Portlaoise. The launch of “Main Street Down The Years” takes place on Thursday August 23 at 6pm.
