Raheen Vintage club are holding their AGM on Saturday night, March 23 in the ICA hall Raheen at 8.30 pm sharp. As we raise funds for the local community please attend this meeting. New members welcome. Refreshments afterwards in Eamon A’ Chnoic. Further information contact John at 087 2784889.

RAHEEN ICA

Raheen ICA held their AGM on 12 March. After singing and prayer votes of sympathy were passed with all who had bereavements since our last meeting. Betty Gorman federation president attended. Members agreed to attend the Irish night and the dinner dance on 12 April in the Gandon Inn. The raffle was won by Millie Lalor-Fitzpatrick. Next meeting will be held on 9 April.

OPEN DOOR THEATRE

Laois Open Door Theatre presents “It runs in the family” a comedy by Ray Cooney in The Manor hotel Abbeyleix on Thursday 21 March at 8 pm. Proceeds to Alzimers Society of Ireland – Laois branch and Raheen hall restoration Tickets at the door on the night. Admission adults €10, concessions €7. No seats reserved.
