Borris-in-Ossory has won the Inter-Litter Competition in Laois for the seventh time. Congratulations to Borris-in-Ossory Development Association/ Tidy Towns Committee on this great achievement. They brought home the Cup and a Cheque for €500 which will be put to good use by the Tidy Towns Committee. This win had a special significance for all concerned as it came just after the untimely death of the late Jack Fahey, one of the hard workers on the committee. Great credit is due to Fr. Jackie and to all the dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly each week to keep the place looking its best and keeping it litter free.
