O’Dempsey’s GAA is bringing the thrilling nationwide gameshow, “Who wants to be a Thousandaire” to The Heritage Hotel on the Saturday October 4. Contestants are drawn from ticket sales and each contestant will play for the chance to win €1,000. The show is fully computerised with ‘50/50’, ‘Ask the Audience’, and a video-linked ‘Phone a Friend’. Tickets for the show priced at €15 (family of 4 €50) are available from committee members. A great night’s entertainment guaranteed with disco afterwards. Not to be missed.

Community Alert

Emo community alert is setting up a community text alert service. If you wish to join this service please contact the coordinator for your area to record your interest before October 1. If there is enough interest shown your coordinator will call to your home with a text alert registration form. A contribution of €30 euro will be requested to help with the cost of signage, insurance, Muintir na Tire membership and the running of the text alert service over the next three years.
