Sr Marguerite entered her convent in Newbridge in 1946, she celebrated her silver jubilee in the convent in Stockport, she celebrated her golden jubilee in the convent in Edinburgh and her diamond jubilee in the convent in Rockferry. Sr Marguerite was a very special and wonderful nun. She was a primary school teacher where she was dearly loved by all her pupils and staff. She was a well known visitor to Rathdowney where she will be missed. She is very sadly mourned by her sister Kathleen Lee and her niece Marguerite O’Toole, her nephew in law and all her nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
