After a successful celebration of their 40th Anniversary the Slieve Bloom Association’s next meeting is on April 30 at 8.30pm in the Community Centre, Kinnity. AGM ispostponed until May 21. www.slievebloomassociation.com
The group installed two spirals, bird boxes, webcam, flower planters, bog oak, weeded flower gardens and more, using funds to enhance the village and surrounds. Work evenings on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting from the Heritage Centre at 6 pm. Fly posting must go outside the 60 km speed signs. During clean up week all roads were done, Brittas Lake, GAA field, Brittas wood. Thanks to all who helped out. Many bags were collected so we ask people to please use bins. Thanks to Pat Fenlon and the CCE for their great work. Be proud of Clonaslee and keep it clean.

Laois Wheelchair Association thank everyone who supported their table quiz on Good Friday by either participating, or providing refreshments, Billy Daly quizmaster, Paddy O’Donovan and the CCDA. Total raised was €453.
Closing date for entries for the Laois Fleadh Cheoil is April 29. Return entries to the branch secretary by April 24. The Fleadh is in Portlaoise from May 29 to 31. Entry forms from Bridget Conway 085-106-7875.

CCE MUSIC CLASSES
Clonaslee Comhaltas music classes on Thursdays in the Community Centre teaching button accordion, flute, tin whistle, keyboard and fiddle from 4:15-8 pm.
