The annual holiday commences on Monday 10 June for four nights, five days. The Hotel has been changed to the Four Star Ballymascanlon House Hotel, Dundalk, cost will be €300 per person sharing.

KILLESHIN AFC LOTTO
There was no winner of the recent lotto jackpot. The numbers drawn were 05, 08, 11 and 24. The four lucky dip winners were Cathal Whelan, Nicky Kehoe, Mark O’Regan and Bertie Duignan, each received €25. The seller’s prize of €25 was won by Mick Brennan. Next jackpot stands at €9,100 and tickets can be purchased for €2 from any club member or in the local shop and public houses.
WORLD RECORD BREAKING ATTEMPT
Killeshin FC is running a fundraiser on Saturday May 04 at their pitch in the Quakers field next to the new school. This world record breaking attempt at three legged racing is open to all age groups. Sponsorship cards are available from Denise McDonald at 0860767731. The start time for this event is 11.30am sharp and registration will start at 9am.
Next Saturday, April 27, 65 children from St Fiacc’s NS will receive their First Holy Communion at two special masses in St Clare’s at 10.30am and 12.30pm. There will be no 10am mass in St Clare’s next Saturday.
HAPPY HEART WEEKEND

St Fiacc’s School Reunion will this year marks the 21 year anniversary of the official opening of the school. To mark the occasion there will be a school open day and entertainment on May 31, a football blitz and night out on Saturday June 1 and a special mass in St Clare’s Church on Saturday evening June 1 at 6.30pm. HOLY CROSS CHURCH
A few years ago the south face of the bell tower on Holy Cross Church was restored. The other three sides now need to be completed. This will cost in excess of €60,000 and the work will begin in the next few weeks. We apologise for any inconvenience during the restoration work.
The 40 annual student games for local primary schools featuring events for U/7 to U/17 will take place at St Abban’s sports complex on Sunday next April 28 commencing at 1.30pm.

PARISH PILGRIMAGE TO THE HOLY LAND
The parish is investigating the possibility of having their second pilgrimage to the Holy Land following the very successful trip in 2009. The cost of the pilgrimage will be €1,475 approx, so people have a full year to save for the trip.
