A whist drive will be held in the ICA hall Raheen every Friday night during July and August at 9 pm commencing Friday 5 July. Top score €50 plus many other great prizes. Proceeds for charity.


If you would like to nominate a parishioner who you think the parish should send to Lourdes this year please give their name and the reason why you have nominated them to Fr. Kelly as soon as possible. Please note that they must have an up to date passport in order to travel!

Ballypickas Field Day will take place on Sunday 7 July, from 2pm in the GAA grounds with events for all the family. A number of events will be free - kids races, kids hurling games, skills competition. There will also be a number of fun fundraising events, including: face painting, tatoos, meggers, bowls, ring toss, ‘turf-stacking’ competition, refreshments, and much more! On Field Day we will GUNGE someone - the person with the most nominations will be gunged.! Free admission. ALL WELCOME.

Church spire

Fr Kelly and the Parish Council of St Fintan’s Church have applied for planning permission to removed the existing church spire roof and formation of a new spire.
