Timahoe ICA guild meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 9 in St Brigids Hall, Timahoe commencing at 8pm.
The Irish Cancer Society’s Care to Drive service is currently seeking volunteer drivers to drive patients from Laois to and from their chemotherapy treatments in the Dublin hospitals. They are looking for volunteers to pick patients up at their homes, drive them to the door of the hospital, pick them up again when they are finished their treatment and bring them home. Clean up Laois
Clean Up Laois Week will again happen in conjunction with An Taisce’s National Spring Clean month of April. This year, the dedicated week in Laois will take place from Monday to Friday April 7– 11.
Heritage Council funded conservation projects are about to start at two of Laois’ best known heritage sites – Timahoe and Lea Castle. The projects are in the early stages of planning, so contact us if you would like to learn more or to offer your assistance.
Scoil Mhuire Fatima NS will receive funding to carry out improvement works this summer.
