The monthly meeting took place on Thursday night June 5, presided over by guild president Ann Phelan. Votes of sympathy were passeed with Darcy family Gash, De-La-Salle, Delaney family Clonard, Kilmartin family Camross/Derrin. Delaney family Rushin Rd. Gorman family Ballypickas on the passing of Kathleen, who was national secretary of the ICA, sincere condolances to her husband Billy and family. Competition winners Eileen Larkin Ann Fitzpatricik, Cathriona Bergin. Raffle winner Eileen Larkin. Competition for July nicest red rose home grown. Thank you to Mary out going president who organised out tour to Botanic Gardens, Glassnevin Cemetary, and Dail Eirenn it was a tremendous success and everybody enjoyed the day which finished with a lovely meal in The Poitin Still. Finally sincere thank you to Sean and Mary facilitating in Dail Eirenn. To our bus driver who did a very good job. Ladies, it’s a scrap supper for July.
Castletown parish mass times have changed from Saturday May 31. New mass times are Castletown, Saturday 7.30pm and Sunday 10.30am, Pike of Rushall, Sunday 9.30am.
