Monster parish bingo will be held on this Tuesday November 4 at 8.30pm in Graiguecullen Hall.

FIACC’S HOUSE DRAW

Fiacc’s House annual draw will take place on Monday 15 December. Cards available from Fiacc’s House or ring Margo on 086 3981213. This is their main fundraiser for the year and new promoters are always very welcome.

KILLESHIN FC

Clothing collection in Killeshin Hall, 11am to 2pm on Saturday, November 15. If collection is required contact Eddie on 087 2032830. Also clothing collection on Friday 14 November from 2pm to 3pm at club dressing rooms. Killeshin FC whist night every Wednesday night at 8.30pm in the Old Den beside Killeshin Hall. Entry is only €5 per person and all are welcome. Refreshments served. Beginners from 7.30pm to 8pm.

Killeshin FC recent lotto results. Numbers drawn were 09, 13, 14 and 15, there was no winner. €25 lucky dip winners were Edel McGrath, Barry McDonald, Kevin Lillis and Paul Finn, the seller’s prize went to Liam Dempsey. The jackpot now stands at €8,000.

KILLESHIN LADIES ANNUAL BINGO

Killeshin Ladies annual bingo takes place on Sunday November 9 in Killeshin Hall at 3pm. Tickets costing €10 for a single book and two flyers, can be purchased at Killeshin Stores or from any committee member or player. Cash prize for pre-purchased tickets.

COMMUNION TO SICK

Holy Communion will be brought to the sick and housebound on this Tuesday and Wednesday 04 and 05 November.

SHOE BOX APPEAL

Team Hope, together bringing hope to the needy. Boxes can be left at Callinan’s Food Store, opposite St Clare’s Church. For further information on collection please contact Bella on 059 9131494 or 086 8414891. We look forward to your support and boxes need to be ready by November 11.

COLLEGE OPEN EVENING

There will be an open evening in Knockbeg College on Friday November 07 from 4pm until 7pm for all prospective students to visit and see what the school has to offer for them. The principal will make a presentation at 5.30pm.

COFFEE MORNING

Coffee morning and cake sale with a twist in aid of breast cancer awareness in the Lazy River cafe Graiguecullen on Sunday November 2 from 9am until 2pm. Come show your support. Donations of cakes may be left into cafe from 9am.

FIRST FRIDAY

Next Friday 07 November is the First Friday of the month. There will be the usual penitential service during the 10am Mass in St Clare’s.

PARISH YOUTH SPACE

There were almost 70 young parishioners at the recent Youth Ministry Retreat. Thanks to Sr Nancy, Joanne Hovenden and Áine Shields for working with our young people throughout the day.

Midweek movie night will take place on this Wednesday November 5 from 5.30 to 7.30pm.

Sunday School group 5 are on next Sunday November 9. Safeguarding forms to be returned asap.

NOVEMBER DEAD LIST

The names of the faithful departed who parishioners would like remembered and prayed for during November can be handed into the parish office or placed in the November Sacred Space. A sheet and envelope are provided in the box of church envelopes and all loved ones who have died will be remembered at all our masses during November.

FOOD KITCHEN

St Clare’s Hospitality have now located a premises for our new food kitchen where we will serve hot meals to families in need five days per week. Some work is needed on the premises to bring it up to health and safety standards. They are looking for volunteers who may be able to help with the renovations. If you are a plasterer, carpenter, electrician or plumber and can give some of your time to volunteer on this project please come to a meeting in the Graiguecullen Parish Centre on Wednesday 01 October at 8pm.

Last orders before Christmas being taken for Graiguecullen GAA club gear on Monday night 10 November from 7.30pm to 9.30pm in the bar. Payment needed on night.

ST FIACC’S HOUSE LIBRARY

St Fiacc’s House Library open for lending Monday to Friday from 10am to 12 noon from Monday last.

GRAIGUECULLEN WOMEN’S GROUP

The Graiguecullen women’s group has resumed on Wednesdays in the Lazy River Cafe at 7.30pm. New members always welcome 

PARISH CHOIRS

St Clare’s Children’s Choir, on Mondays from 4.30pm to 5.30pm in the Parish Centre. The choir is open to all primary school children and first year secondary school students. New members more than welcome.

Parish Youth Choir has resumed on Saturdays from 12.45 to 2pm in the Parish Centre. The choir is open to all secondary school students and young adults. Musicians also very welcome.

THURSDAY MORNING CLUB

Thursday Morning Club has resumed after the 10am mass in St Clare’s.
