St Clare’s Hospitality Volunteers now deliver over 150 food parcels each week to families who are struggling. To continue to provide this service we urgently need your help.
If so, you can really help your parish community with the ongoing upkeep and running expenses of St Clare’s and Holy Cross Churches along with Parish Grounds, St Fiacc’s Hall, and Sacred Heart Hall etc. When you are employed, self-employed or on a retired pension you are automatically paying tax. When you make a donation to your parish which is a registered charity, we can claim back tax which you have already paid to revenue. This is a way the government supports the work of charities. If your combined annual donations to Red Bag, Blue Bag or priest’s collection make up to a total of at least €250 the parish can claim back Tax that you have already paid, from the Government. This will in no way affect your financial salary as an employee or self-employed person. It will not affect your retirement pension. This is a wonderful opportunity for the Parish and your help would be very much appreciated. Forms are placed at the back of the church. We would appreciate it if you would complete a form and return to the Parish Centre. For further information about this scheme please contact Fr. John or the Parish Centre who will be glad to help. Phone 059 9141833.
