Hannah and Christopher had eleven children - Anne, Christy, Helen, Theresa, Philomena, Mary, Paddy, Angela, Eileen, Patricia (RIP) and Bill (RIP). Hannah lived in Kilbricken for most of her life, and moved to a residential home in Rathdowney in 1989 after her husband Christopher passed away.

Since moving from Rathdowney, Hannah has been a resident of Brookhaven Lodge nursing home since she was 97 years of age.

“She always said she would make 100” said her daughter Phylis who was there with her to celebrate the special birthday.

As well as being a grandmother to quite a lot of grandkids, Hannah is also a great grandmother and a great great grandmother. Hannah was also joined for her party by her only surviving brother, 96 year old Michael Kelly who travelled up from Cork for the occasion.
