Miss Teen Ireland

Bracknagh may be a small community, but it has hit the headlines in recent weeks with its very own celebrity. Courtney Sheridan is only 15 years old, but she won Miss Teen Ireland last July, and then went on to represent Ireland in Jamaica for the UN world title which she won on November 4. Courtney had a great week in Jamaica, full of interviews, photo shots, catwalk and style and some press conferences. Courtney has chosen to do some charity work with Suicide Aware, where she wants all teens to be heard. As a small problem to an adult, may be a major problem to a teenager. She goes to Ard Scoil Rath Iomain in Rathangan and is now in 3rd year, and is the youngest of 3 children. Her parents Tracy and Tony Sheridan are very proud of her, as are her grandparents John and Gaye Broderick Bracknagh, and all the Sheridan and Broderick family. She is wished well by her family and friends for the future.
