Timahoe IFA AGM will be held on Thursday November 29 in St Bridget’s hall at 8.30pm. All interested farmers please attend.
The AGM of the club is on the December 8 at 7pm in the clubhouse. All please attend to voice your opinions and have your say.
Well done to treasurer Ellen Hyland, chairperson Sarah Culleton and secretary Lauren Mc Donald upon receiving their accolade on behalf of Timahoe Foroige last Wednesday night at the Laois Community forum awards night in Portlaoise, they received this on behalf of the 60 member strong club for the work they do for local youth.
There is a meeting on Wednesday November 28 in the hall at 8pm. If you want to help out on the committee or become involved in the hall, please get involved.
Well done to the Tidy Towns members on receiving their accolade at the recent awards night in Portlaoise, well done to Joan Clancy who collected the accolade on behalf of the committee.
Well done to Billy Delaney on receiving his accolade in respect of all the voluntary work he does in the village. Billy was justifiably nominated for the award, however he was unlucky not to win. There were over 30 entries.
The playground committee are holding a church gate collection on Sunday week, please support the cause, any household that has not made a contribution to date are encouraged to do so to any committee member. The equipment has arrived and we now need to get things ready for its installation.
Timahoe National School in association with the parents council are organising a cake sale on Sunday December 2 in the hall after 10.30 mass. Anyone who wants to bake or donate anything please drop into the hall before mass. The hall will be open that morning from 9am.
