Thank you all for the up keep of the village lately, it’s never looked as well.
Local ecologist Fiona MacGowan and NPWS Wildlife Ranger Colm Malone led a nature walk through Timahoe Esker Nature Reserve for Heritage Week. Afternoon sunshine filtered through the trees revealing all sorts of natural delights from the rare Wood Mellick grass to the pretty Wood Avens. All were happy to discover this woodland gem with its looped pathway which is now accessible for all to walk and enjoy. Timahoe Esker is owned by the State and managed on behalf of the people.
