The parish lotto with a new jackpot of €2,650 was not won last week, the small winners were €30 Peadar Lennon, €25 Fiona Jacob, €20 Sarah Gaughan. The lotto organisers wish to thank everyone who buys tickets in the weekly parish lotto, those who sell on behalf of the clubs a big thank you. The lotto committee wishes everyone a prosperous New Year. The first draw of 2015 was held on Monday night January 5 in Dec’s Bar with a jackpot of €2,800. All tickets were to be handed in before 9.30pm on the night of the draw to be included in that jackpot.


The Killermogh annual parish New Year dance will be held in the Castle Arms Hotel on Friday January 9, 2015, with supper being served at 9.30pm sharp. Tickets are available from the committee or at the door on the night. Music will be provided by Elpasso.

All are welcome to attend and support this function.

Annual Church Gate Collection will take place on Saturday & Sunday, January 10-11 for Laois branch of Irish Guide Dogs Association Volunteers needed to cover all Mass’s contact Richard at 0872776450. Your support will be greatly appreciated for this worthy Irish charity who have given so many people independent skills either through Long cane or Guide Dogs training all free of charge.
