Festival of the Mountain - Meeting
The Rosenallis Development Association are holding a Public Meeting on Wednesday, May 27 at 8pm in Rosenallis Community Centre to discuss the future of the Festival of the Mountain. We are no longer in a position to run the Festival unless we get more volunteers. We need stewards to help make and run stalls on the day, help organise competitions and with car parking. The Festival is a well known and popular event, we feel it’s a strong tradition in Rosenallis and we want it to continue, this can only happen if we have volunteers. We understand that some people aren’t interested in joining committees but would help out on the day, all we ask is that you register your interest on Wednesday. We hope to see you there.

Hard Luck - U/16 Hurlers played Borris/Kilcotton in the league final last Wednesday. After a hard fought game our lads came out the wrong end on the scoreline losing by 4 points after extra time, A massive effort by players & management which the club are very thankful.
Sympathies - The club wish to extend deepest sympathy to the family of Barry McEvoy, Kilcavan, on his untimely death, after a short illness. Barry will be sadly missed in the community, he was a gentleman on and off the field. Barry won an Intermediate hurling title with the club in 1999. He will be fondly remembered. May he rest in peace.
