Cabaret in aid of church restoration fund will take place in Eamon A’ Chnoic, Raheen on Sunday 19 August. Music by High Level. Admission €5.


Raheen Vintage and Parish committees will hold their 4th annual rally and fun sports day on this Sunday 19 August from 12 noon in Colt GAA field with their kind permission. Attractions include bouncing castles, skills, wheel of fortune, gaa blitz, stalls, bric a’ brac, home baking, burgers etc. There will be a large display of vintage tractors, cars, and engines. A raffle for 3 months membership of swimming pool and gym at the Maldron Hotel, Portlaoise will also take place on the day. All proceeds will go towards Raheen Parish Lourdes Invalid fund, senior citizens party and church renovation fund. Donations of bottles, toys etc. may be given to Fr. Kelly or any committee member. There will also be a vintage and modern tractor run on the evening of Saturday 18 August at 4pm from Eamon A’Chnoic with proceeds going to Downs Syndrome.
