Bingo in the Old School Community Hall for the foreseeable future due to renovations in the old hall. Over €1,200 in prize money, also a raffle on the night. Come and enjoy a great night and be lucky.
Our inaugural Knock threshing event which was held on Sunday September 15 was a great success. The sun shone eventually, the crowds came and a great day was had by all. On behalf of Knock NS parents association and board of management we would sincerely like to thank all parents, family, friends and everyone who helped out.

After last year’s success in Portlaoise, the Ballinakill Vintage and Classic Car Owners Club have decided to run the indoor vintage show event again on the Sunday of the October Bank Holiday between 11am and 4.30pm at the Laois Shopping Centre Portlaoise with funds to Portlaoise Lions Club. Registration on Saturday 26.

Condolences to the family of the late Juliay Ryan (née Ging) of Lisnagammon, Spink, who died on September 27. Deeply regretted by her loving sons Thomas and John, daughters Catherine, Margaret, Anna, Majella, Theresa and Marybridget, sisters, brothers extended, family relatives and friends. Reposed at her son John’s residence (Lisnagammon). Removal to St Brigid’s Church, Ballinakill for funeral mass on followed by burial in St Brigid’s Cemetery, Ballinakill.
