The Mountrath branch of Laois Heart Foundation will hold its AGM in the Cosy Cafe at 8pm on Wednesday October 16. All new members are welcome.

All the dancers who are involved in strictly are busy fitting dance rehearsals into their busy schedules alot of hard work is going into the preparation for the big night, so your support is needed. Tickets on sale €20 each in Costcutters, the Cosy Cafe, Centra, Tots & Co Playschool and Lynda Deegan Main Street.
The heifer competition is now over the winner was Mr Chris Henry, Cortown, Kells, Co. Meath. Many thanks to all who entered.
MOUNTRATH FOROIGE- (youth club)
Mountrath Foroige resumes on the Thursday October 10 at 7.30pm - 8.30pm (for the first night) in the girls old school, Patrick Street, Mountrath. Thereafter meetings will be from 7.30 - 9pm each Thursday night. We look forward to the great year ahead, after a very busy and enjoyable year last year. We undertook lots of interesting projects in the past 12 months, with many more to look forward to.
We look forward to new members joining. In order to join, members must be in secondary school. All are welcome.
The knitting group continues to meet every Friday morning 10.30am - 12.30pm. New members always welcome.
