HOLY COMMUNION

The children from Killeshin N.S will receive their First Holy Communion next Sunday, April 26 in Holy Cross Church at 10.15am & 12.15pm. We ask God’s Blessings on the children and their families and we thank their teachers and all who have helped them reach this stage of their faith journey.

The children from St Fiacc’s N.S will receive their First Holy Communion on Sat, May 2.

Pre-Baptism meeting

the next meeting for parents who are presenting children baptism will be held on this Wed. 22nd April at 7pm in the parish centre. Parents presenting children for Baptism in May & June are asked to attend this short meeting.

Bingo

Graigue as usual on Tuesday night @ 8.30pm. Big prizes to be won. Come for a great night out.

YOUTH SPACE

POPE JOHN PAUL II AWARD PRESENTATION: All our awardees from 2014 will receive a certificate in recognition of all their parish work over the past year at mass next Saturday 25th @6:30pm mass in St. Clare’s Church with refreshments served afterwards for all awardees.

SPIRIT OF KANDLE CHOIR PROJECT: This choir is open to ALL young people from 6th class and upwards who like to sing. Members learn 10 Christian songs from a CD in their own time and then meet for short rehearsals in the lead up to our concert at the end of May. ☺ Our first practice will take place next Wed 5:30pm in Graiguecullen parish centre where CDs will be available.

SUNDAY SCHOOL: Group 5 are on next Sunday 26th April.

PRAYER INTERCESSORS: This group are available to pray regularly but individually for the life of the parish as well as specific intentions that arise from time to time. If you have a family member who is seriously ill or is undergoing a major operation or any other special request please ring the parish office (9141833) and we will send out a group text to request prayers. In order to maintain confidentiality we do not use names in the texts. If you are interested joining this new ministry please give your name and mobile number to the parish office.

Of the Blessed Sacrament in St. Fiacc’s House every Wednesday from 10.30am to 2.30pm.

St VdeP Shop

St. Vincent de Paul Shop Carlow-If you are freeing up space in your wardrobe in advance of the summer why not donate your good quality clothes, shoes, bags and accessories to the Vincent’s shop 46 Tullow Street Carlow. Donations will be gratefully received in the shop from 10am to 5pm Monday to Saturday. The Society would like to thank everyone for supporting the shop over the past year.

Mediation

Guided Prayer/Meditation Sessions will be held daily at11.30 am and 8pm from Monday to Thursday each week. You are welcome to come to any of these sessions. Please contact Eileen at 086/3194597 if you have any queries.

Eist

The Eist centre six week CLIMB programme starts the end of April. This programme aims to support children (5 to 12 years) who have a parent, family member or significant other, coping with a cancer diagnosis. The programme runs for one hour each r week and is an enjoyable, interactive experience and a time for the children using drama, art and play to help children share their feelings. Please contact the centre for more information on CLIMB. On 059 9139684the centre opens Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays p am to 4 pm. Carlow Fibromyalgia

Support Group please note change of venue for all our meetings - last Tuesday of every month at 7.30pm - to the TALBOT HOTEL, CARLOW (Wexford Room).
