Sympathies to the family of Martin Dooley Cloncannon who died recently, He played on Rosenallis teams and his son Martin Jnr won Intermediate & Junior Championships with the club. His many nephews have and still play on Rosenallis teams, In recent times Martin was a great supporter, barely missing a match. His presence will be sorely missed. Ar dheis de go raibh a ainm. The club had another winner in the Laois GAA draw, Victor Smyth won €500. Well done to U14 hurlers who qualified for the All Ireland Feile last weekend, a great achievement by both players and management, Three matches were played culminating in the final against Clough Ballacolla on Monday afternoon, won by 5-7 to 3-7.
