EASY RIDERS

10th annual charity cycle. Rathdowney to Achill, the August bank holiday weekend. Launch night in Iano’s Bar Friday, May 25, at 9.30pm. All welcome.

WORKING WITH WOOL

is held every Monday, 2 - 4.30pm at the Cuan Bhride Centre, Morrreville, Rathdowney. From complete beginners to experienced knitters, should you, man or woman over the age of 18, feel you would like to join us, you will be made very welcome. There is a small fee of €2 on attendance to cover the cost of insurance, etc. No charge for the chat and laughter.

OSSORY AGRICULTURAL SHOW SOCIETY

BOOTCAMPS

8 week bootcamp courses starting May, Tuesday 22 and May, Thursday 24, time 7-8pm. Men’s circuit training 8 week course starting May, Thursday 24, time 8.15 – 9pm. SOCIAL SERVICES OUTING

will take place on Saturday, June 30 to Mahon Point Shopping Centre, Cork and to Titanic experience in Cobh. Bus leaving outside Church at 9.30am. Contact Gina 087 2454722.

BINGO

A great bingo is held every Tuesday at 8.30pm in the Rathdowney Community Centre.

COMMUNITY GAMES

Rathdowney community games will hold their local athletics finals on Friday, June 1, in the GAA field. Registration form 5-6pm. First event starts at 6pm. There will be a competition for under 8, 10, 12, 14 and 16s boys and girls with medals for the first three in each competition. A fee of €3 per athlete will be charged.

CLEAN UP

A general clean up, rubbish picking and weeding has been organized for this Saturday 26, from 11-1, meeting point the Square. Please bring shovel/spade and yard brush if possible.

PARENT & TODDLER GROUP

The group meet every Friday morning in the Marion Centre from 10-12. All welcome parents, carers and minders with children from new born to pre-school. No joining fee, €3 per morning.
