Senior hurling final
Well done to the senior hurlers who have surprised every one in qualifying for their first final since losing to Rathdowney-Errill in 2010 and their 31st decider since 1959 they beat Portlaoise in the semi-final by three points.
On Sunday next September 29 they take on near rivals Borris-Kilcotton and the team is captained by Tomas Burke. The game is scheduled to throw in at four o’clock. This will be the first meeting with a team from Borris-in-Ossory since Camross won comfortably in nineteen seventy eight captained by Richard Moloney.
