CLOTHING COLLECTION

Castlecuffe NS is having a clothes collection on Wednesday September 25. Please give unwanted clean clothing, shoes, belts, bags, textiles and stuffed toys by 9.30am. Mobile phones in a separate bag. Recycle and support the school.

The mission church gate collection raised €1530. On behalf of Sr Bridie Hogan in Zambia and Fr PJ Clear, sincere thanks to the parish for your support.

TIDY TOWNS

Clonaslee has received the best environment award in Portlaoise on awards night.

The village gained 3 points in National Tidy Towns award, bringing total to 299,with a very good judges report. Chairman John Callaghan thanks the hard working volunteers, Fas participants, community and business people for their support, private donors, the Vintage Club, the young volunteers and Pat Fenlon. Well done to you all.

PARENT TODDLER GROUP

Parent Toddler group meets on Tuesdays in the Community Centre , 9:30 am to 11:30 am. Cost €3 per family. Parents, grandparents & minders welcome. Call 087-691-9056.
