Novena

Two weeks before Ash Wednesday 2014, begins a wonderful nine-week Novena in St Peter and Paul’s Church, Portlaoise.

This is an occasion of great blessing for the parish community to gather together in prayer and worship every Wednesday evening at 7.30pm for the celebration of Eucharist.

An important element to this Novena will be praying for personal petitions.

These petitions will be remembered and prayed for throughout the nine week Novena.

The parish are delighted each week to welcome excellent speakers who will speak words of hope and encouragement. Very soon in the parish church, petitions will be available for people to record their very personal requests.
