Free first aid course

A five week Rural Community Safety and Emergency Response Training course begins in Killenard Community Centre on Wednesday September 10. This course is given by occupational first aid instructor, Gregg Duggan, First Point Safety, Portarlington. Free to participants, but places are limited. Culture night

Emo Court exhibition and free guided tour of Emo Court on Friday, September 19. Two free tours commence at 6pm & 7pm (extended opening hours).

Traditional music, song and dance concert in Emo Court from 6.30pm - 8.30pm by Portarlington Comhaltas Ceoltoirí Eireann in the Drawing Room, Emo Court.

Story and song takes place at The Fishermans’ Thatched Inn from 8pm. All welcome to take part. For information contact Sean on 087 2324698.

EMO YOUTH CLUB

The Emo Youth Club will be starting up at the end of September. We are looking for any unwanted XBox, Playstation or Wii consoles and games to be donated. We are also looking for beanbags. These items would be a great help to get the club up and running and to make it a fun space for the youth in the area.
