THE LATE MICHAEL (MICK) KILDUFF
The death occurred on Sunday, January 18 of Michael (Mick) Kilduff late of Ballintubbert, and formerly St Patrick’s Park, Celbridge and Rathcoole, Dublin, peacefully at his home. Sadly missed by his loving wife Betty and his family, daughters, sons, daughter-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchild, brothers, sisters, relatives, neighbours and his many friends. His remains were reposing at the Presentation Chapel, Stradbally, until removal to the Sacred Heart Church, Stradbally, for funeral mass on Tuesday and burial took place afterwards in Oakvale Cemetery.
LATE MATTHEW COSTIGAN
The death occurred on Sunday, January 18 of Matthew Costigan, Dysart, Stradbally.Beloved husband of Anne and much loved father of Matthew, Alison and Ronan. Deeply regretted by his loving family, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends. His remains were removed to St Fintan’s Church, Raheen, on Tuesday for 12 noon requiem mass. Interment took place afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

PARISH MISSION STRADBALLY
The Parish Mission in the Church of the Sacred Heart will be held from Saturday, March 21 to Friday, March 27 directed by the Vincentian Fathers.
PARISH COUNCIL MEETING
A parish council meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 28 in the Parochial House commencing at 7.30pm to discuss same and meet up with people giving the mission.

The Parents Committee Annual Christmas Hampers Raffle was very successful. €7,516.24 was the final tally . This was indeed a massive sum of money and we wish to acknowledge the generosity of the entire school community. There were an amazing 66 prizes and this Raffle has certainly lived up to its reputation. Thank you to everyone who donated, sponsored , sold and bought tickets and well done to the hard working Committee for a fantastic day on Friday 19t. Thanks to John Maher who provided the music and to our 6th Class Teacher Ms Karen Kelly who co ordinated the singing/musicians and to Ms Kelly for singing so beautifully for us . We are very blessed to have such a wealth of talent in our school . I would like to extend a special thanks to the man himself….Santa Claus who took time out from his busy schedule to pay us a visit in St. Colman’s.
