Saturday evening mass in Camross remains the same at 8pm. Kilanure on Sunday morning 8.45am and mass in Camross on Sunday morning will be at 10am. Garden Party Success

On Easter Monday last there was a huge turn out of people at the residence of Denis and Dorothy Delaney at Rosadown. There were all kinds of attractions and the grounds were 100%, parking of cars etc. were all under control. Teas were served all day and there were cake sales and everything you could think of to make money as this was the main reason in holding this event. The full amount of profits are not to hand at the time of going to press, but will be made public as soon as possible. The family wish to express their sincere thanks to everyone who attended and contributed in anyway. They did not expect anything like the response they got.

Death

The death took place last week of Ivor Chamber, Whitefields, Kilanure. He was only in his 70’s but was in failing health, although he was able to be out and about until the end. He was a character in his own right but people enjoyed him and there was a great turnout for his funeral in Annatrim. He is mourned by a brother, sisters, cousins and his neighbours who will miss him very much. May his soul R.I.P
