VARIETY NIGHT

Following the great success of the supper dance last year we are holding it again this year on Friday 12 April in St Fiacc’s Hall.

Supper will be followed by a cabaret and dance with an array of local artists taking part.

This year the variety night will be in aid of Graiguecullen/Killeshin Lourdes Invalid Fund who takes over 40 people each year to Lourdes. Tickets are not available on the door.

All guests must be assigned to a host/table. Contact the parish centre for tickets.

A Meeting for all table hosts will take place this Tuesday 09 April at 8pm in Parish Centre to allocate tables.

Anyone who still wishes to host a table please contact parish office urgently.

SOLEMN NOVENA

This is the eighth year to run our Solemn Novena and it began last Monday and will continue for another eight consecutive nights.

Guest speakers for this year’s Novena: 15 April, Breda O’Brien, Teacher and Journalist.

The rosary is recited at 7.10pm and Mass begins at 7.30pm.

Each night a special guest speaker will speak for about 15 to 20 minutes about their work and how their faith guides them.

KILLESHIN AFC LOTTO

There was no winner of the recent lotto jackpot. The numbers drawn were 08, 10, 23 and 28.

The four lucky dip winners were Betty Fitzpatrick Friarstown, Tommy Malone, Thomas Brennan, Shane Whelan each received €25 and the sellers prize of €25 was won by Mike McCartney.

The jackpot for next draw stands at €8,900 and tickets can be purchased for €2 from any club member or the local shop and public houses.

The club would like to thank everyone for their loyal support of our club lotto and we hope to restart work on the new pitch development in the next few weeks

LOURDES PILGRIMAGE

The Parish Pilgrimage to Lourdes takes place from Monday, July 1 to Saturday, July 6.

CRYS 5KM FUN RUN/WALK

Carlow Regional Youth Services are holding a 5km fun run/walk and family day on Sunday, 21 April at 11.30am from Carlow rugby club.

Entry is open to people of all ability, with the emphasis on fun and enjoyment!

HOLY WEEK AND EASTER CEREMONIES

The priests of the parish thank all those who helped to make our ceremonies so special and meaningful.

We thank all who cleaned and decorated our churches so beautifully and all who prepared and participated in the various ceremonies.

They really value and appreciate the generosity of so many people.

GRAIGUECULLEN GAA

Graiguecullen Juvenile GAA training for U8’s and U10’s will start back next week.

Recent Lotto results, numbers drawn were 03, 13, 23 and 32.

There was no Jackpot winner so next Jackpot will be €10,000, Reserve €10,000.

There were two Match 3 winners of a €100 each; Eddie c/o June Harte and Jimmy Walsh c/o Valerie Walsh.
