On July 13 a darts exhibtion with Wayne Mardle took place in Ray’s Bar in Errill in aid of the Coombe Hospital in Dublin, Wayne threw against 17 local throwers on the night with only one getting the better of him. The organisers would like to thank all the sponsors and Ray Kelly for the use of his premises, Laura Kinsella and Stephen Delaney for ticket sales and Barry Bowe who organised the event and all who helped out with the bag packing to bring in a total sum raised €2,475.


There was no winner of the jackpot on the last draw which took place on August 19th. The numbers drawn were 2– 5 – 8 and 26. There were two Match Three winners, Eileen Ryan, Errill and Mary O’Keeffe, Knock who won €50 each. The jackpot on August 26th will be €6,400. Tickets can be purchased in Walsh’s shop, in Ray’s Bar, in Dowling’s Bar and from local promoters.


The volunteer collectors of the above organisation wish to thank those who supported the annual church gate collection in Errill on the weekend of 17th and 18th August. The amount collected was €230.26. Your support is greatly appreciated.
