The Arthouse Gallery in Stradbally will host a new exhibition by artist Pat Byrne titled ‘Excursion’, to open on Thursday, September 5 running to October 4.
Ratheniska CCE music classes commence Tuesday September 3 at 7pm. Beginners very welcome. Pupils who sat their SCT Music Grade exam will be presented with their certificates by Senator Labhras O’Murchu at an afternoon concert in the Dunamaise Theatre on Saturday September 14 at 2pm. Admission €5, members of the public are welcome to attend. The All Ireland Ratheniska Marching Band together with all Ireland musicians, singers and dancers will perform on the afternoon.
OFF TO THE DOGS
Timahoe National School are holding a race night in Newbridge Greyhound Stadium on Friday, September 27. The fundraiser is to properly fit out the new classroom extension. Tickets are €15 and can be purchased in the Timahoe National School or by contacting 087 7443824. There will be a raffle on the night with lots of prizes.

FLOWER AND GARDEN CLUB
Club are organising a trip to Maynooth on Tuesday, September 17 for the demonstration by Jonathon Moseley in the Glen Royal Hotel, Maynooth.
