Condolences to the family of the late Paul Doyle of Strad Brook, Portlaoise formerly of Shannon Road, Mountrath who passed away on August 17. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing family and friends. Reposed at Burke’s Funeral Home, Mountrath. Removal to St Fintan’s Church, Mountrath, for funeral mass followed by burial in St Fintan’s Cemetery, Mountrath.

Training for girls Gaelic Football continues at the changed venue of Burke’s Field, Shannon Road, Mountrath (200 yards on right after end of footpath). Training takes place every Monday evening at 5.30pm for all girls aged 5 up to 10 yrs old. We are very keen to encourage new members to join Mountrath Ladies Football Club.
