‘Talking Memories – Life in a Small Village’ a book written by Fr O’Reilly about Clonaslee over the past 100 years will be launched on Friday November 8 at 8.30pm after evening mass in Scoil Bhríde gym. Light refreshments will be served and you can purchase a piece of our history for only €10.

LADIES ROUNDERS AGM
Clonaslee St Manman’s Ladies Rounders is having their AGM on Friday November 8 at 8pm in the Community Centre.
The rosary will be recited in the three local cemetaries on Sunday November 10 as follows: Corrigeen at 2pm, Kilmanman at 2.45pm, Clonaslee at 3.30pm.
Liam Lawton will be performing in the Community Arts Centre in Mountmellick and featuring will be our ‘4 Parishes Choir’ on Friday November 15. Cost €20, doors open 7.30pm, concert starts 8pm. Tickets from Flynn’s Post Office.
CLONASLEE COMMUNITY GYM
The new community gym is now open to the public. Opening Monday to Friday 9.30am to 12.30pm and from 6pm to 9pm. Saturdays from 11 am to 1 pm.
The weekly social dance lessons with teacher Maureen Culliton are on Tuesdays from 8 to 9.30pm in the community centre.
Membership now due: junior members €6, adult €12, family €20. Music classes back on Thursday November 7 in the community centre. All ages catered both children and adults. Set dancing in the Parochial Hall every Thursday with children from 7pm to 8pm and adults 8pm to 9.30pm with teacher Maureen Culleton. Singing every Saturday morning 10am to 11am in the parochial hall with teacher Sarah Conway.

The Social Services bingo is on Wednesdays from 2 – 4pm in the Heritage Centre.
