25 Progressive Card Games

There were five tables at last Friday night’s (January 3) 25 Progressive Card Games in Ballyouskill Hall. The winners were Marty Rohan and Paddy Holohan (13 games); Mary Kelly and Noreen Ryan (9 games); Tom and Margaret Kealy (9 games); Paddy Lalor and Pat Foley (9 games).

Heywood Community School

Enrolment will take place in Heywood Community School on Thursday night, January 23 at 7pm for prospective 1st year students and their parents.

Attanagh Residents Association

A meeting of the above will take place on Thursday night, January 16 at 8pm in Brendan Phelan’s house to discuss plans for the coming year. Your attendance would be appreciated.

Laois Hospice AGM

The Laois Hospice Foundation Annual Public Meeting takes place on Friday, January 17 at 8pm in the Killeshin Hotel, Portlaoise. Special Guests are Mr Sean O’Rourke and Ms Eileen Dunne of RTÉ. Why not come along and hear about hospice services in Laois and where the monies collected are spent. This should be a very enjoyable and stimulating night. Everybody is welcome to this meeting and your support would be very much appreciated. Refreshments will be served on the night. Thank you for your support.
