THE LATE PADDY DELANEY

The death occurred on July 29 of Paddy Delaney. Deeply regretted by his wife Mary, his sons Stephen and Seán, daughters-in-law Martina and Anne, grandchildren Patrick, Oisín and Mairéad, brothers Billy and Mick, sister Katie, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. He reposed at his home and from there was removed to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Galmoy. Following funeral mass he was buried in the adjoining cemetery. Sympathy is extended to his family and friends. Paddy played with the Errill senior hurling team in 1952 county final. May he rest in peace.

SYMPATHY

Sympathy is extended to Mrs Ann Whyte and family, Ballagh on the recent death of Ann’s brother Peter Merlehan, Drumcondra, Dublin which occurred on July 10. May he rest in peace.

ERRILL GAA LOTTO

The Errill GAA jackpot was not won last week. There were four match three winners, Liam Corcoran, Rathdowney, Ray Kelly, Errill, Kay Moore, Borris-in-Ossory and Michael Doheny, Coolowley. The jackpot on August 11 will be €5,700. Numbers drawn were 2-7-14 and 23. Tickets for draw are available in Post Office, Dowling’s Bar, Ray’s Bar and from local promoters.

ERRILL CEMETERY AGM

The AGM of Errill Cemetery Committee will be held on August 12 in St Bernadette’s Hall at 9pm. The committee welcome new members with an interest in the up-keep of the cemetery.
