Sean Fitzgerald recently retired as Principal of Raheen NS and Tobar an Leinn, Raheen after teaching there from 1980 to 2014. A celebration mass will be held in St Fintan’s Church, Raheen at 7.30pm on Friday, November 7. Refreshments and presentations afterwards in Eamon an Chnoic. All past pupils and past parents are invited to attend this special occassion.

It would be much appreciated if we could have some photos which were taken during Sean’s time in Raheen. Please leave them into Tobar an Leinn or Fr Kelly’s house.

25th Celebrations

Eamon A Chnoic Raheen is celebrating 25 years since opening on bank holiday weekend 24, 25 & 26 October. They are having a trad night on Friday 24, an eighties night with fancv dress on Saturday 25 and a hurling match with a mix of players from Colt, Shanahoe, Trumera, Clonad and Ballyfin on Sunday 26 with a trophy up for grabs. Tournament will be followed by refreshments and live music.
