Due to the inclement weather Laois Friends have decided to defer the opening of ‘The Rambling House’ planned for Sunday June 24 until further notice. In the meantime Laois Friends will continue with the development of the project.
FÉILE
Two local teams the girls and boys U14 take part in the Féile tournament this weekend. The boys team are hosting North London and the girls are hosting Na Fianna of Dublin. Both teams play games in the Gaa pitch Ballyroan this Friday with the girls out first at 2pm and the boys at 3pm. Saturday games for the girls take place at home but the boys have to travel to Sliabh Bloom.
COMMUNITY GAMES FINAL
All roads lead to Clara, Offaly for the final of the U10 football final at 7pm. The team having been victorious in Laois are hoping to do the same in Leinster and a great display of football is promised. Plenty of local support will only encourage the young lads and the best of luck to all involved.
