LATE TONY FITZPATRICK
The death took place at his residence of Charles Anthony (Tony)Fitzpatrick Ballybrophy on Friday June 8, following an illness. His remains reposed at O’Sullivans funeral home Rathdowney. Removal on Sunday morning to the Church of the Assumption Killasmeestia for requim mass celebrated by Dean Seamus McEyoy followed by burial in Aghaboe cemetery. He is deeply regretted by his sister Joan, brothers John and Patrick, nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law, cousins, relations and friends. May he rest in peace.

Knockaroo ICA guild meeting took place on Thursday 14 June. President Joan Kelly welcomed all present, a vote of sympathy was passed with Fitzpatrick family Ballybrophy and Finan family Derrin. Secretary Cassie Coss read minutes. Treasurer Josie Dunphy gave report. Congratulations from the guild to Betty Gorman on being elected federation president and to Kathleen Gorman on being elected regional president. Raffle winners Anne Dunne Joan Kelly. Meeting ended with supper. President wished all an enjoyable break for the summer months.
