BACK TO SCHOOL

BACK TO SCHOOL

It’s that time of year! Clonaslee College resumes classes on Tuesday August 28. Wednesday August 29 1,2,3,5,6 years return and on Thursday August 30 all years including Transition Year are to attend. Scoil Bhríde National School and Castlecuffe National School start the school year on Monday September 3.

NEW TRAFFIC LAYOUT

In order to improve the safety of all those using the grounds of Clonaslee Community Centre a new traffic layout is being introduced. Following a review of traffic and pedestrian movements around the Centre, and bearing in mind the requirements of the various groups who use the indoor and outdoor facilities, it has been decided that a one-way traffic system should be introduced. New road marking, signposts and parking areas will be installed, and we ask everybody who uses the centre to become familiar with these new arrangements. These changes are designed to improve safety and minimise the risk of accident or injury to students, sportspeople, staff and all other users of the Centre. We ask for your support and co-operation in making the Centre a safer place for all. Signed Clonaslee Community Development Association (CCDA).

CHURCH GROUNDS

The church grounds will be busy during the next week. The grounds will be drained; new gulley’s put in and resurfaced. People attending morning mass are asked to park outside the grounds. We expect the work to be completed prior to the opening of Scoil Bhride on Sept 3rd.
