To Matt & Bridie Phelan of Derry Canton on their 50th wedding anniversary which took place recently. They had a special Mass in Castletown church and a lovely meal afterwards in Mountrath Golf club joined by family and friends. Bridie hails from Camross parish, younger daughter of the late Con and Mrs Delaney Rosnaclonagh this a family of boys, the oldest daughter Mai was an Ursline nun then Joe, Paddy, Jimmy, Sean, Corrie and Martin surely Bridie was a welcome daughter. On looking up our ICA records it seems Bridie was a founder member, so from all her friends and neighbours we wish many more years of happiness.
