St Vincent de Paul Auction Monasterevin - under the auspices of North Kildare Farmers Hunt are holding an interesting auction in Mooneys Bar on Sunday 11 November at 5.00pm. Items being auctioned include Equestrain, Art,Health & Beauty and many other items. Everyone welcome. St Vincent de Paul Shop, Monasterevin welcomes good quality items for sale in their shop.

Citizens Information will be available in Monasterevan Credit Union office on Tuesday 6 November from 10.30 am to 12.30pm. This service is available on the first Tuesday of each month.

SENIOR CITIZENS SOCIAL

Senior Citizens Committee are holding their Annual Social Night in Monasterevin GAA on Thursday 8 November from 7.30 to 10.00pm. If you did not receive an invitation please contact Mary at 0863724635.

CRAFT FAIR

Will be held on Sunday 11 November from 11.00am to 4.00pm at Mount St Annes, Killenard, Portarlington.A wide selection of homemade crafts available. There will be a raffle on the day. MONASTEREVIN ADVENTURER

A book on the adventures of Monasterevin man Jack Lee called ‘Letters of by Brother’s Life in the Klondike” will be launched in the Horseshoe Inn, Abbeyleix next Friday , November 9 at 8.30 pm in Horseshoe Inn, Abbeyleix. Jack Lee who went to the Klondike which is a vast area in the Yukon are of the United States. He spent his life there hunting and fishing and detailed all his adventures in letters back to his family. This publication is a joint venture between Paddy Mooney (Proprietor of the Horseshoe Inn) and the Irish Fly Fishing and Game Shooting Museum, Attanagh. All are welcome on the night and refreshments will be provided. Special thanks is extended to Laois Partnership for their generous sponsorship.
