No Whist Drive

Our weekly whist, though small this long time and enjoyed by the few who who did attend has not taken place over the last couple of weeks. This we very much regret as the few who did attend enjoyed it and were able to compete with the local Whist drives as regards prize money etc. We have a very comfortable room in the Parish Hall and we are appealing to our few regulars to come back as if it goes it will be very hard to get it going again. We supported every fund raising event, paid our heating and contributed to parish funds as well. So we are appealing to our Whist friends to come back and keep this little card-game in the Parish alive. We are of course hit by sickness as some of our regulars are out sick and we wish all of them a speedy recovery.
