A great Bingo is held every Tuesday Night at 8.30 in the Rathdowney Community Centre. Your support would be greatly appreciated. Bingo is run by the Community Centre Group.

Rathdowney Men’s Shed made a presentation to Archdeacon John and Irene Murray of a sculptured piece of bog oak and would like to wish them well on their upcoming retirement.

Clough Ballacolla GAA are hosting a drama called ‘The Six Mary’s’ by Jean Farrell and Catherine Gallagher on Friday March 21 at 8pm in the Hawthorn Community Building, Ballacolla. Admission is €10.


There was no winner in this week’s Rathdowney GAA Lotto Jackpot which was €1,150. The numbers drawn were 4, 16, 17, 20. The 10 winners of €15 were Paul Purcell, Roisin Kelly, John Brophy, Sean Sinnott, Liam Fitzpatrick, Katie Smeaton, Mick Kelly, Kathleen Loughnane, Shane Keegan and Noel O Gorman. Dance for St Fergals

The Communications Prefects in St Fergal’s College have organised a Social Dance in aid of the school’s Gym Fund in The Templemore Arms on Friday March 21.
