Jean Farrell presents her one woman play ‘The Six Marys’ in Dunamaise Theatre, Portlaoise on Thursday May 23 at 8pm. This play takes a light hearted view of growing up the 50s and 60s in Ireland. Jean is a sister of Sheelagh Coyle (Mountmellick). This is her fourth visit to Laois having presented her play in Portarlington and Mountrath Golf Clubs and Ballacolla Sports Centre.
On Wednesday May 28 from 2pm to 5pm the Retirement Association will host a dance, facilitated by Maureen Culleton, in the Macra Hall. Admission €5, tea will be served.
BEALTAINE AT BALCONY CINEMA

Ciorcal comhrá (Irish conversation group) meets in the library on Thursday mornings from 10am to 1am. All ages and levels welcome for a friendly chat ‘as Gaeilge’ in a relaxed atmosphere.

Over the last number of weeks we welcomed many new girls and boys to the club. New players are always welcome and can register on our training nights Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7pm to 8pm.
