Parish Book

Please note there are still a number of copies of the history of Borris in Ossory parish ‘Viewing Through History’ available and now at reduced price of €50 for the two volumes. This is an excellent publication and would be great for families to have and pass on and keep the history of the parish alive to pass down the generations. It would be a great Christmas present for anyone interested in the history of the locality, at home or abroad. The book can be purchased by contacting the author John Phelan at 087 6156808 or by email or his brother Liam Phelan in Garron 087 7662486. They will arrange to send same by post anywhere in the world, just cover the cost of postage. Also, there are still a few copies of ‘In the Shadow of the Goalpost’ available, soft back €20 hard back €25. Again, this is a detailed history of the three local GAA clubs and is a must for anyone with a love for the Gaelic games.

Laois GAA Records
